Idea2 offers the same functionality one can find in many web-based CRM services. We deliver the service over the internet, it is scalable, rapidly provisioned, you can track leads, prospects, customers and activities through a browser based user interface.
That is where the similarities end. Idea2 was conceived by a group of people who were in the ‘custom’ CRM business. Using commercially available and open-source products, this team exercised the customization tools on most well-known CRM products today. They found themselves running into the same challenges time and time again. The data structure confined the level of customization which frustrated the customers and did not satisfy the objectives of the project.
By deconstructing the elements of CRM – activities, tasks, issues, leads, opportunities, and customers, and data, they decided that there was a better way to do it. Idea2 is the result – a provisioning tool that constructs custom CRM within the framework of a shared code base. That way, all customers receive the benefits of the cloud without forsaking the productivity enhancements that truly customized CRM can offer.
